All-in-one energy management

Take control of your energy. All from one team.

  • Cut your bills by up to 60%

Solar panels generate free electricity. Battery storage lets you use it when rates are highest.

  • One team, start to finish

From your first call to final inspection, Grid xPower handles everything. No subcontractors, no runaround.

  • Smart systems that work together

Solar, battery, and hot water designed as a connected system — not separate add-ons bolted together.

Why homeowners choose us

Everyone in this industry says they are honest and everyone shows you a photo of a roof. Here is what we actually do differently.

  • Sized from your bill, not your roof

The easiest way to sell a bigger system is to point at empty roof space. We start from your consumption and the times of day it happens, because a system that exports most of what it makes at the lower daytime rate is not doing your household much good.

  • Four systems, one point of accountability

Solar, storage, hot water and filtration are usually four separate contractors and four separate warranty conversations. Running them through one team means the person who specified the system is the person you call when you have a question about it.

  • We will tell you when it does not stack up

Some roofs are too shaded. Some households do not use enough power after dark to justify storage. Saying so costs us a sale and saves you a poor investment, and we would rather have the second conversation than the first.

  • The job is not finished at commissioning

A system that is never checked is a system quietly underperforming. Handover includes showing you how to read what yours is doing, so a problem looks like a problem instead of looking like normal.

How it works

From first call to switched on

Four stages, and you know what is happening at each of them.

  1. Enquiry

Tell us where you are, what you are considering and roughly what you spend on power. A recent Synergy bill answers most of it.

  2. Site assessment

We look at the roof, the switchboard, the meter and the shade through the day, then talk through what is realistic for your place.

  3. Installation

Licensed trades do the work, and the network and retailer paperwork is handled for you. Most residential installs are a single day on site.

  4. Support

You are shown how the system reports on itself before we leave, and you have a number to call if the numbers stop looking right.

Solar Panels

Clean, affordable power from your own roof

A Grid xPower solar system is your first step to energy independence. Our premium panels are designed to perform in Perth's harsh conditions — delivering reliable savings for 25+ years. Paired with our monitoring and support, you'll know exactly what your system is producing.

Battery Storage

Store your solar. Use it when it matters most

Why export cheap solar to the grid when you could use it at peak rates? A battery system from Grid xPower stores your excess energy and releases it when Synergy charges the most. Keep the lights on during outages and take control of when you use power.

Heat Pump Hot Water

Hot water at a fraction of the cost

Heat pumps use ambient air to heat your water — consuming up to 75% less energy than a traditional electric system. They qualify for government STCs that reduce the upfront cost, and they're built to handle Perth's climate year-round.

Water Filtration

Clean water from every tap

Perth's water can be hard, chlorinated, and full of sediment. A whole-home filtration system from Grid xPower removes impurities, protects your appliances, and delivers better-tasting water — without the ongoing cost of bottled alternatives.

Questions Perth homeowners ask

More detail sits on each product page. Start with solar if you are not sure where to begin.

Which system should I start with?

For most Perth households solar comes first, because it is the one that changes the underlying bill. Heat-pump hot water is often the strongest second step, since it turns a large fixed load into something your panels can cover during the day. Storage usually makes most sense once you know what your evening usage actually looks like.

What rebates and incentives apply in WA?

Solar and heat-pump hot water are eligible for small-scale technology certificates under the federal Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme, with Perth in Zone 3. Exported solar is credited under the WA Distributed Energy Buyback Scheme. Water filtration attracts nothing. Battery incentives change, so check the current position rather than relying on a figure you saw last year.

Do you service my suburb?

We work across the Perth metropolitan area and a number of surrounding WA regions.

How long does it take from enquiry to installation?

The variable parts are the site assessment, the network connection approval and product availability, not the install itself, which is usually a single day.

Will I need to upgrade my switchboard?

Sometimes. Older Perth homes often have switchboards without the space or the protection devices a new system requires. It is checked during the assessment so it appears in the written quote rather than as a variation halfway through the job.

Can I install solar if I am renting?

Not on your own, but it is not automatically out. It needs the property owner's written consent, and the owner is usually the one who holds the contract. We are happy to talk it through with both parties.

Do you handle the Western Power and Synergy paperwork?

Yes. Network connection applications and the retailer notification are part of the job. You do not need to lodge anything yourself.

What happens if something goes wrong after installation?

You contact us directly rather than chasing a manufacturer overseas. Warranty terms differ between the equipment and the workmanship, and both are set out in your quote.
